Agnes (Balloch) Dawson was married to William Dawson III, who served as United States Minister to Ecuador, Colombia, and Uruguay, as well as U.S. Ambassador to Panama between 1931-1941. This collection includes extensive letters written by Agnes to family members describing daily diplomatic life and public social events. Included in her correspondence are photographs and newspaper clippings. A genealogy of her paternal lineage is also included from 1861-1905.

Agreement between Robert Morrow and Jonathan Oldham and William T. Faxon

This agreement, signed by Robert Morrow, Jonathan Oldham, and William T. Albert A. Reichert papers

Overview

Albert A. Reichert, who lived for many years at Seneca, Kansas, was a veteran of the Spanish-American War, serving with the 22nd Kansas Volunteer Infantry Regiment. These papers include several of his letters of 1898, written to his parents of Holton, Kansas while he was posted at military camps in Virginia and Pennsylvania. His papers contain a small quantity of additional correspondence and his wife's funeral notice of 1951.

Overview Manuscript "Album" inscribed to "Milly Bushe from Papa June 1857." The Bushe family appears to have lived in Arnestown, County Wexford, Ireland. Contains poems in various hands, some initialed and dated by the contributors. Among them, several commemorative poems refer to the death of Milly's sister, Annie H. Bushe, in 1868. The latest dated entry is signed "M[illy] B[ushe] April 1918". The opening poem is illustrated with a pencil sketch. Two loose inserts (printed poems) have been removed...
